Introductory Physics: Applied Math of Motion

Students study the fundamentals of Newtonian mechanics – motion, forces, momentum and energy. They discover physical relationships by designing hands-on experiments, plotting data, analyzing results, and building mathematical models. These models help students solve challenging problems and extend their understanding of physics principles. Students develop strong skills in critical thinking and scientific reasoning, which prepares them for advanced and AP STEM courses.

This course is designed for students interested in physics who have completed at least an Algebra 1 course.

PREVIOUS COURSE: Algebra 1
